Data deletion
Last updated 1 November 2026
How to remove what TargetGum holds about your Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts and Pinterest accounts, and how to have your whole TargetGum account deleted.
1. What we hold when you connect an account
- The access TargetGum's publishing service needs to post for you, kept encrypted and never shown in the app.
- The account's name, username and profile picture link, so you can recognise it.
- Posts you published or scheduled through TargetGum, with their links and status.
- The reach and engagement figures shown in your reports.
Each connected account belongs to one business in one workspace and is never used for anyone else. See our Privacy policy for the full picture.
2. Disconnect an account in TargetGum
- Open the business, then Social accounts.
- Choose Disconnect on the Facebook, Instagram or Pinterest account.
TargetGum stops posting to it and reading from it straight away. Workspace owners and admins can do this.
3. Remove TargetGum's access from the network
You can also withdraw access from the network itself at any time. TargetGum can no longer use the account once you do.
- Facebook: Settings & privacy, then Settings, then Business integrations; remove TargetGum.
- Instagram: Settings, then Apps and websites (or Business integrations); remove TargetGum.
- Pinterest: Settings, then Security and logins, then Apps; revoke TargetGum.
4. Ask us to delete your data
Email info@tapashub.com from your account's email address. Say whether you want one connected account's data deleted or your whole account. We confirm the request and delete or anonymise the data within 30 days, except records the law requires us to keep, such as invoices (Privacy policy section 7).
